Clear Corner Mod Help needed please!!

Attempting the clear corner mod this weekend, however not sure i am all that confident in my drilling abilities. I ran across this thread listed below that shows an alternative way to remove the amber reflector from the inside of the housing. Has anyone tried this before? I have single xenon lenses and it looks like this was done on a s4 bi-xenon housing which has a larger opening to fit your hand thru. Any advice is much appreciated!

i did not read the artical, but when i did the cc mod i drilled the first one. the second one i pushed/pried it out with no problems. i also was able to get the amber out by adjusting the highbeam up all the way and pulling it out with pliars.

use a dremal. and drill nice and slow its honestly pretty hard to fuck it up. just make sure you get heat resistant sealant. I also have single xenons and took about 45 minutes to get them out but patience is a virture and your best friend with these types of mods. just take it slow, also if you havent al ready got to a4mods.com and use there diy for the cc mod. and i also did the stealth bulb mod on my front blinkers it looks a lot better than just orange turn signal blubs.

Its really super easy. Took me maybe 40 minutes for both headlights start to finish. Just twist the bottom (auto) adjuster out of its holder, disconnect wires and remove it. Pull out the D1s bulbs, set aside. The whole reflector is able to flip-forward and you can slide the reflector out from under it. I used hot-glue to fill the one hole on the bottom, as it dries clear.
