the hyperboost? thats a new 1 to me...

OEM one is the best 1 and its alot cheaper than the forge dv and works just as well. Go oem all the way just get the newest revision.
Selling Nogoro blue Alcantara door panels. Will fit b6/b7 a4/s4/rs4. In great condition, originally wanted $600 shipped but dropped price to $500 shipped. Check my classifieds for pictures. I want these gone, will include extra door clips if requested. PM me if you want pictures of them installed or anything else I want these gone so make me an offer and we'll talk.

Me neither. First time I've heard someone mention a hyperboost.

Boone, as stated above, just go OEM.

Really? Two threads in the last two days I clearly stated that the person just go with the OEM piston revision DV. Others too. Others also said Forge. You have to make your mind up

    Now three.

Oh wait, it was YOUR thread the other day I said go OEM. Seriously? You didn't need another damn thread. You now have 3/3 failed threads. You even created a blog on this site about it. Jebus man.

Are there any variable-flow turbos for the 2.0L B7? While Phil is LEDing my lights I have been driving my Dad's Acura RDX and holy crap is the turbo so much better then our stock one. 0 lag time and even though its an SUV only having a engine 0.3L bigger gives it faster 0-60.

Since this is the only legitimate question in this thread.

No. Not yet. The only turbo that BW manufactures for gas powered cars with VTG is on the 997. Nothing with ball bearings either ... You all want to hear your turbo more, that is what you need.

You will have better luck searching for variable turbine geometry if you want to know more about it. I hadn't heard it called variable flow turbo, and Acura's description is misleading
To reduce turbo lag and boost engine response, the variable flow turbocharger narrows its intake duct at low rpm, increasing the speed of airflow, which keeps the turbine spinning quickly at low rpm.
But what they mean is the exhaust intake duct. I had to read the patent to understand that they weren't trying to say there was an advantage in closing off the intake duct.

So the search turned this up, but its not honda's http://www.patentstorm.us/applicatio...090151350.html but even this is just more VTG.

Stick with the OEM DV, part number is 06H 145 710 D. This one's actually the latest one used in the newer 2.0T and it works fine with ours. Unlike the old DV, there's no diaphragm so it won't rip especially if you chip your car.

This guy isn't happy until people tell him what he wants to hear. He made a thread yesterday asking the same question, then instead of just continuing the thread with the answers in it, he makes another one. He deserves it.

Pretty sure you're right. I think it's designed for B6 and previous models.

Hey, people are going to get annoyed when the same questions are asked over and over and over when a search would provide the answers. Waste. Of. Time.

For real. I'm all about being polite and helping the noobs - I'm pretty much still one myself - but come one. Two different posts on the same subject in two days ...on a topic that can easily be searched. That's just disrespectful of the forum's time and taking the forum for granted. Do some of your own work, and if you're truly stumped, then ask for help.

And mutherfeking take or don't take the advise you asked for - but don't just ask the same question again the next day. ... or if you do, expect to get flammed.

I'd better stop now, or I'll warrant a "Oh, He Mad!" picture from someone.

How about instead of complaining that its a similar post just hit that back button on your browser... Guy has a question and starts a thread, either don't look or help the guy by re-directing him to the original post... you're not changing anything by insults or saying its already been done... Nor am I changing anything, I just have some time to kill before I get off work so yayyy...

You mean re-directing him from this thread to his original thread?

Well next time, he will most likely think twice before starting a new thread. Maybe he'll even use the search button. This would not have happened without the insults.

You've only been on here a couple months. Don't try and tell us (the ones that are on here everyday) how to go about posting. If we ignored this thread, he would just make another one. Your logic fails.

My mistake.. I did mean thread*** well, I feel your logic is questionable sir. You paste the re-direct link and thread is dead - goes away with all the other countless and pointless threads, couple probably started by me ;-p ... By insulting the guy youre just re-fueling and re-activating the thread. Now a thread that could have just had 3 posts has 30 posts because other people chimed in to post pictures or insults

Personally, i don't really care and i feel its somewhat entertaining but - im bored at work and i normally come on here and look around a couple times a day... Also, i don't really see how its relevant that ive only been here a couple months...

Obviously im not trying to change anything cause its useless, its the internet.. but what im trying to say is that youre changing nothing either, why insult someone when you can help em out? Just my $0.02.. Have a great day!
