Benefits of downpipe on stock exhaust syste

Im considering installing a downpipe but leaving the rest of my stock exhaust system in place.

I know the best option is to replace the entire exhaust with a Turbo back system, but is this mod worth doing?

If so, will this downpipe need to be replaced if I decide to get the Turbo back system further down the track?

    Thanks
Opinions are like a-holes, everyones got one.... and everyone thinks everyone else's stink!
So the above post was my uneducated, misinformed, unresearched, ignorant, xenophoc, homophobic, sexist, agnostic, cacomorphobic, flaming, stinky opinion..
