Okay guys, this issue is bugging the sh*t out of me. I had my car aligned, balanced and the tires flipped and I'm still getting a shimmy at 50+mph. From everything that I've read and been told, balancing is most likely the culprit. Now, I had a shop look at everything to make sure no tie rod ends or anything were shot and they couldn't find anything.
Now, even though I've had the wheels balanced by 2 different shops, could getting the wheels Road Force balanced solve the issue? They've just been spin balanced the previous two times.
Any other ideas as to what could be causing the vibrations?
UPDATED:
So after 3 shops. Tires flipped, balanced 3 times, front and rear alignment, it looks like my steering wheel vibration is gone. To no surprise of mine, it was a balancing issue. I guess some shops just don't know what the f*ck they're doing. Had it Road Force Balanced and all is good with the world. Never will I ever again get my wheels spin balanced. Road Force FTW!
