    Fitment Issues LM Reps

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I got some LM reps and they are not clearing my brakes. They are a 19x8.5 35 offset. I am running 235/35/19 tires. I tried some 10mm spacers but was rubbing very badly. I am lowered on Eibach springs. I have stock brakes. Is there any solution to this or am I SOL? I was thinking about trying some 3mm or 5mm spacers. But I am still not sure if that will clear my brakes.

Can the wheel experts chime in here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

either get a new tires, a size that will allow you not to rub, or try smaller spacers, or get S4 breaks.

Most lm reps clear with 3 to 5mm spacers. Try that.

This is what I thought, too. Seemed like most people running reps used a 3-5mm spacer and everything was dandy. I picked up some LM reps at et34 and I needed 8-10mm spacer to clear the front calipers. I sent the wheels back and learned my lesson. LM Reps = No, no.

I'm running ET35 with 10mm spacers on 225/35/19 & it rubs occasionally, but not enough for me to change it - love how it looks!

ET35 with 10mm spacers is a little much, unless you run different tires. As stated above try 5mm spacers

I did the exact same thing. 25k km's and no issues thus far either.

What I did (I painted them too cause they rusted in like 5 minutes)

Whoa, slow down there... aren't you forgetting about replacing the brakes with RS4 carbon ceramics?

    Haha, did he paint everything?

I'm with brown on getting real ones, never really got the appeal of taking a chance on getting knock off wheels from shady sources and having to "work" with them.

If a b7 is your beater, real LMs shouldn't be too far out of reach

Well the 5mm spacers worked perfect. Thanks for the advice guys. They look even better than what I was expecting. I will post some pics once this nasty weather is through.

had the same set up and here is what I can offer:

Had 235's and actually got a 2mm ECS spacer to work originally.
Put new brakes on and 2mm was not enough anymore
Went to 7mm spacers in the front and it worked. Still a little rub going into driveways etc.
Went to 225's and 7mm spacers and thats the setup i have been running ever since.

If you are going to keep the 235's, I would say 5mm would be your best bet.

If by tire bolts you mean lug nuts then yes you will need extended length lugs.

For 5MM you do not need extended lugs. OEM length lugs are fine for 5mm spacers
