s4 brake upgrade

got a few questions i can get the full front subframe with axels, hubs, rotors, calipers, etc.. but also i can get the rear sub frame to with everything the question is would i be able to put the rear subframe with out the rear end and axles or will it not work?

I'm not sure it would be worth all the effort... Your rear brakes don't do a whole lot...

yeah but one of my rear spindles is a bit messed up and screw up wheel bearings every now and then and plus its gonna be really cheap for it and i cant find anywhere other than audi that has rear spindles

Why do you want to swap the rear subframe? If you want s4 brakes in the rear just get adapters from 034, s4 carriers, calipers and some 300mm rotors along with brake lines and you are good to go.

he only needs to swap the front spindles and and maybe the half shafts or he could go with something custom that bolts right up

If you do go ahead and swap subframes, check out our Subframe Bushing kits. We offer a stiffer then stock, and full motorsport aluminum set. I don't recommend the motorsport for daily driving, but the stiffer then stock will keep good ride quality and offer way less deflection between subframe and chassis.

I have an S4 front and rear subframe on my project A4. Its not a terribly fun job.

Aligning the damn holes of the subframe after installing the new bushings were a biotch. I went with the full aluminums, but I cannot tell you how the ride. The do looks pretty as hell though!
