I had these on my car before i went air ride....but now i'm going back, that's how much i miss them. On full stiff they still ride very comfortable, handling is more predictable and car stays flat through accel, braking, and turns. I'm having them refurbed by bilstein right now, and their customer service is top notch!!!!! And being adjustable with them still on the car is a big plus. during winter when on stock wheels i turn them to full soft. and summer on aggressive wheel and tire setup I turn them to full stiff.

anyone in the market for coils, get these,

and im not affiliated with USP at all, bought my coils from AWE 4 years ago.

I'd also like to know what the minium drop is and if they offer/recommend higher rear spring rates for the Avant.

The lowering on these is 30-50mm (1.1" to 2.0")

The spring rates for the sedan and avant are the same from Bilstein. I don't believe they have an alternate option for the avant.

Yeah if you want to be slammed these aren't the best way to go. Bilstein is more performance inspired and being that low is too much for the geometry on the factory suspension in terms of handling.
