LOOOK! Quick qiestion about fuel pump Feed & Return Lines

The Car: 2001 A4 1.8TQM
I am in the process of installing a brand new fuel pump.
I did search and do have a Bentley manual but none helped.
Also, I do realize that I can follow the line that goes to the fuel filter and figure it out but I don't have a lift.

I haven't marked the lines and now I think they may have been switched.

How do I know which that the lines are not switched?

This is the fuel feed line correct? It has white letters on the rubber hose.


And this is the return line correct? It has blue letters on the rubber hose.



By all means feel free to post pictures of how yours look like.

Off topic, sorry to hear about what happened with your build. I hope you find out what the problem is.

Anybody else with some input or this is all I need?
