Number Plate Light - Need Help

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So for a couple months now, my car warns me (EVERY 60 SECONDS) that the 'number plate light' is out. Well, yes, they are. They were both badly rusted, so I removed them. I had removed 1 initially and the warning stopped after a while a couple of days. But now that both have been removed, it warns me every 60 seconds.

Anyone have any pictures on how to replace the house and such? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Hey asshole, if you're not going to help, don't reply. Maybe you would have an issue replacing a light bulb, but that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking how to replacing the entire housing and wiring. Since it's all defunct.

you need to pull the liner off and there are two to three bolts on top the housing... easier if the trunk is off the car...

Thank you Vortex. Is there a way to switch off the 'check' for the number plate lights? Any fuse I can pull? I kinda of like the no-light look on the plates.

haha! Of you spent a minute looking at your trunk lid, it would be obvious that you need to access it from behind.
