APR, any word on the 3.0T tune?

Well the S4 tune has been out for a while now, I'm getting anxious.

I've seen you post in the s4 threads quite a bit about their tune. I remember seeing a few weeks ago that they were wanting a local A6 owner to go to their shop for some testing etc. Hopefully they found someone to help out so they can get this thing released!

Maybe the A6 tune is developing 600hp and they don't want us embarrassing S4 owners?

I will get in touch with the guys at APR tomorrow and see if I can get some solid answers for you guys ! I know they are still a few month out on the program switching routines for the S4, at this point that is their main focus to get to market.

Us with the small motor wouldn't mind the option.

91 oct tune? Cmon, They really should have a 93.

I would love to be the first to twin turbo a 3.2. haha Yeah right. Anyway Guess I'll keep searching. I only run 93 and would love to find a tune for 93

I'd prefer APR as they have octane specific programs as well as program switching.

Its probably me but im kinda confused by 313hp 323tq but... 95 AWHP 75AWTQ?? some please explain this to me.. newbie

So the hp and tq claims made by audi of 300hp and 318tq are at the crank, whereas the 313hp and 323tq claimed by APR are at the wheels after drivetrain loss has been figured in.

Now what happens to my warranty once i'm tuned? Do they ever look at that ?

Generally speaking, you should have absolutely no trouble, especially if you have a good relationship with your SA. The tune should be 100% invisible to the dealer as long as it is in "dealer lockout mode."

What dealer do you go through?
