How to fix a sticking hand brake?

Well my hand brake has been sticking for a while and is loose when pulling up for about 2" before I get a click. I tried lubricating the arm on the rear caliper and that seemed to work for a few weeks and started to stick again.

How can I get a permanent solid feeling hand brake again???

its likely a seized caliper, i have had to replace both in the past. be careful about what you lubricate it with now as it starts to get freezing over the winter...shit will freeze, lol.

when the handbrake is OFF, are you able to manually release the e-brake lever on the rear calipers?

Yah I put a wrench on the bolt for the hand brake mechanisms and moved it back and forth. free'd it up a bit and worked good for like 2 weeks. then started sticking again.

    Here, check this out first:

The sticking e-brake caliper lever/mechanism is a common problem. Usually the caliper piston is otherwise just fine, and the lever just needs freed up and excercised a bit.
