ive really grown to love the hartmann dtm rs4 reps. i found these on achtuning but wondering if they will fit good. the only backspacing they have listed is et42. will i need to run spacers to make them flush with the fenders? i have a 2002 s4 by the way. i searched on here and couldnt really find an answer. i saw people say they clear the brakes fine but i want them to be flush looking. wish they made a 17" but if all they have is 18 ill do it.

No, those won't be flush at et42 on an 8" wheel.

Hartmann's fitments generally aren't that aggressive.

would the et38 be the right ones? i guess i would need spacers for the et42 right? the ones i posted were alot cheaper that why i wanted to know, but if there gona be a pain to make them look right i will just have to pay the extra and get the et38 set..

The ET38 18x8.5 wheels are the correct ones for the B5. Make sure they are actually in stock before you order. Last time I checked, they were "In Transit".

ok thanks. not totally sure if im gonna order them yet. my stock avus wheels are all bent and need new wheels, but i found another set locally for a good price, so might wait on the hartmann wheels till the spring. i leave for army basic training in 3 months so i might just wait it out... i really like these though, at least now i know which ones to get and how much i gotta save. i appreciate the info!

The old Italian DTM wheels in ET42 do not have the brake clearance required to fit B5 S4's. We do have them available in our new 18x8.5" ET38 sizing which will fit.
