Anybody have any experience with these? I really like the look of the LED's on the newer ones... Wondering if these are comparable to Valeo's E-codes...

I don't know about those ones I haven't tried them before not really my style but I know you can ge them for way cheaper from Kiet@Vex and he has pretty nice stuff for the price. You can find his stuff for sale in the Classifieds. There is a thread on here with someone who installed them on a santorin blue B5 on here and they look pretty good on that car, you might want to search for that and ask him. I will attach it if I find it.

They just sucked. I was the first person in the US to have them. If I could go back in time I would have just gotten e-codes a long time ago instead and saved myself the headache.

These ones say they come with HID installed already, and that they're ecodes... I don't know about the looks, though... Maybe I should put in a request on the photoshop thread. Was that you're main issue, other than the HID bit, was the looks?

edit: Never mind, found the pic on your old thread where it was photoshopped... not too sure... the LED strip kinda cuts the smooth lines down...

    I have these, they're garbage.

I'm replacing them with exists and selling them for next to nothing to some kid with an A4, I wanted them gone since the day I got them.

Just what is so garbage about them? I'd like to get some more details on issues, not just an overall statement. Is it looks, installation compatibility, brightness, alignment, etc.

Installation was awful. The whole wiring harness had to be cut and spliced and all sorts of nonsense, it was a major pain in the ass. They looked horrible once in the car, the black edge ruined the whole look. Please just trust me when I say skip them.

As soon as I saw them on some beat up & riced out A4 around my school I had to get rid of them immediately.

What he said plus build quality is horrible, light output is worse than a late 90's civic, and I can't stop them from fogging.
