I'm trying to decide whether to build my own hyd. handbrake or whether I should just buy something.
I came across this and have been searching for a couple hours trying to find out who makes this, but to no avail...
Look at the photo closely, and you'll notice a blue and red anodized master cylinder... ANyone ever seen one of these? have any idea who makes it or where I might find one?

This is what rally teams use. A conventional cable is not easy to lock the wheels up with so they use that. Problem is you'd need to make sure it was only for the rears. Need a high pressure 1 way valve or something to prevent it from pushing back through the ABS system.

Unless there is a better way I'm not aware of haha

Maybe try to take the best of both worlds and adapt this into a seperate system so it won't do anything to the ABS?

even if you drilled into the caliper it would still force pressure back that way. and then your ABS would get pissed. although it'll be pissed anyways... but idk if it can do anything about you locking the wheels up if your not going through the pump

Won't do anything to the rest of the system if you are running a parking brake caliper onto it. ABS wouldn't even be able to work against you because it is manually controlled. Ive seen that somewhere before though....I'm gonna look for it.
