Had someone help me with a vag com today. Got everything done with the exception of the video in motion as it seemed to be a little more involved.

The one that surprised me was I got the green consumption screens now. Kinda cool on the center information screen. Shows litters per hour and a few things. Tells me to close windows due to wind disruption.

Question for those who have it. I think there is a glitch as it says Air Condition on when I just am running the fan or when I have it in auto climate and turn off the AC button. It still thinks it's on. No big deal but something I noticed.

I do like the big green circle that tells you what gear you are in that turns yellow and red. Might get annoying but it's better than that little number in the bottom left hand corner.

Are you driving a 6MT? Just wondering, don't think I have seen the color changing circle. Maybe if I try shifting manually (S-Tronic)...

I activated this feature on my A4 and I quite like it. I like that you can display instant and average fuel consumption all in one screen. Something that the standard display doesn't do.

You will notice that in the screen where the AC is being shown to draw xL per HR the amount will go up and down depending on if your AC on or off. It's still a system that affects your over all consumption.

What I found really cool is that it stacks everything according to how much it's affecting fuel economy. Next time you are driving turn on your heated seat then your front fogs. You will notice how the order they are placed in changes.

I reved the engine a wee bit while in park and got a msg that I shouldn't be doing that :)

The color changing circle only shows up on MT vehicles. I don't get anything gear related on my reg slush box.

Sovwith the Air Conditioner it still displays the word even if it's not on. Does it draw power when just the fan is running?

I am not sure if there would be a difference between premium and prestige. One doesn't have have the colour display correct? Since it seems to use all sorts of colours green, red, orange, yellow I would think that you might need the colour display.

As far as what I changed here is the list

Windows up and down with remote
Lap timer and thus getting the oil temp
LEDs on with turn signal
Adjusted led lights to be on at 60% with headlights on rather than the 9% that it's set to from factory
Added the hidden menu
Tried to do the emergency brakes and turn signals to flash under hard braking, can't confirm this works yet.
Still need to do video in motion, this one requires a little more work it seems
Made the e brake auto off work if the seatbelt isn't on
Amber side corner light delete.

Also tried to do the fogs stay on with brights but that would work, couldn't find the byte as per instructions on Audi enthusiasts site.

I think that was it.

The color changing circles are instead of the normal shift suggestions with the manual gear - meaning not available with S-Tronic nor Tiptronic (or should not be available)

I tested this out this afternoon. With the AC on it showed about .5L per hr and with the AC off but fan still running it was almost down to nothing but still showed. Turning the HVAC off completely makes that line item fully disappear.

Yes I found the same thing regarding my car with the air condition
