    Molded Oetty Rear. Photoshop request

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Has anyone seen, or know of someone that has molded the Oetty rear into one piece? Post pics if you can find any, as I have been looking into buying an S4 rear, or possibly being the first(from what I could find searching) to mold the Oetty rear halves together to make it more "OEMish" than it looks now. Discuss.

    Pic for click:

I wouldn't change a thing with the rear valance, MMM. It looks great, as is. I would honestly save the $ and pick up the matching Oetty side skirts instead...

I really like your roof spoiler - Oetty?

Also, if anyone can photoshop that effect, it would be greatly appreciated! And would likely save me 3-$400 if it looks bad, lol.

Thanks Arc. I was contemplating that as well. I think I am just bored, and have the urge to change things. I've got a package coming next week that might hold me off on painting, at least for a little while anyway...

And the roof spoiler is DTH. I am SOO glad I bought it before Greg closed up DTH. I had been holding off for almost 2 1/2 - 3 years when one day something told me to just buy it. So I did, and not 2 months later Greg closed up shop. (Sadly)

    WHA?!

The whole point of this thread was to find someone who has molded the Oettinger rear bumper.(The one on my car in the pics) Not being a smart-ass, i'm just surprised you didn't notice, haha.

Lol, I worked 14 hours today and have "brain-farted" all day. I was typing numbers backwards, and stuttering all day. I don't know WTF is wrong with me, so I understand, haha.

I did, but only that one shot exists. He took all others down once he sold the setup. FACK!! I emailed him, so hopefully he's still got some old shots post-molding stored some place. Thanks for the tip Rav...

id love to see the otty bumper not only molded, but also with the lower lines matching. meaning if you start at the left of the car, you hit one muffler tip, then it jumps up an inch or more, then jogs back down after the other tip. make the bottom of the bumper totally flush.

    go photo shop pros, go!!!

I'm sure they have done that for a reason. I could see how that rear would hold a lot of air coming from under the car at highway speeds. I agree it would LOOK better, but the stress that would be on that part would maybe brake apart the molding he is trying to do.

^That makes sense. I don't have plans on doing that, as you can see in the pics it would just be a thick 2 inch piece of plastic on that lower portion, which would look funny..
