Help Please: Engine shuts off at idle.

I STFA but nothing came back that really helped me.

    Symptoms seem to be:

    Audi a4 1.8TQM, K04, GIAC

-Start car and can run for a few minutes but then it will just shut off. It doesnt drop in RPM's or anything funny like that. Simply shuts off for no apparent reason.

-Check Engine light isnt on, so im assuming there are no codes to run. I still need to go to my uncles shop and see if there are any.

-I can sometimes start the car right up, but then it will shut off again quickly. Or it wont restart unless u wait awhile then it does the same exact thing as stated above.

So far Ive changed the Cam speed sensor which thought that could be it, but apparently not. Changed some of the relays hopeing that it was the problem.

Im need more ideas on what to check for please! Electrical problems suck! lol least if you blow a tranny you know what it is and can fix it easily!!

So you changed the cam position sensor? I was thinking more the crank sensor (aka: engine speed sensor, rpm sensor, etc). Located near oil filter housing.
