push and hold I&III until the l.e.d. flashes after about 20 secs. pick the channel u wanna use and press it for about 5 secs and the indicator l.e.d. will flash slower. u now have 5 min to clone the signal. use the garage door opener about 1 foot from the sensor under the driver side headlight. push and hold. once signal is copied, the flashers on the car will flash 3 times. u can then release the button on the opener. it takes anywhere up to a min.
if you have rolling codes instead of using remote use learn button on garage opener itself to program it.
    otherwise try

or check manual for rolling code programming.

    its really easy.

    1. Turn the ignition on. (not the car)
    2. hold homelink buttons 1 and 3 down until the LED starts blinking fast.
    3. press the homelink button you want to program.
    4. point the remote below the drivers headlight and hold down the garage door remote button until the flashers blink 3 times.
    5. if you have rolling codes press the learn button on the back of the garage door openned/motor.
    6. press and release the homelink button you want to program again until it opens/closes the garage door.

A remote with rolling codes can be problematic to program. You can find the specific info at the Homelink site: http://www.homelink.com/home.php

Before doing anything else, ensure your model of garage door opener is Homelink compatible. A number of even late model garage door openers are not Homelink compatible. After many hours attempting to program mine (2002 model), I discovered mine is not.

I've had two garage door openers, both of which had rolling codes, and I've never had an issue. The manual instructs you on how to program for openers with rolling codes. You basically have to "teach" the opener to recognize the homelink. There is typically a "learn" button on the opener itself (See your garage door opener manual).
