New B8 2.0 TFSI Owner (and a little lights problem...)

Hi guys, im from Brazil and i bought a brand new Ibis White 2011 A4. It´s a 8 speed multitronic, 183 cv and 32 torque. I´m loving it!

Since i started to read this forum, before my Audi arrive, i bought a VAG-COM cable and yesterday I made some modifications like Needle Sweep, l/100 km to km/l (brazil measure) and little others.

Yesterday i noticed that the lights from side mirror was not equal to the keys to open windows and all other controls. Today, when i was at my dealer to install the windows film i asked about that and they said to come back another day since they was almost without time to check it today. After coming home and driving at night when i switched the headlights on, surprise, lights from side mirrors was back at normal. Nice! Well, after stop ad start again the engine, here we go, lights almost gone, you can barely see the red light. I will go to dealer tomorrow so they can check and maybe fix but i wanna know if someone else got this problem early. Is there something i can check using vag-com? Is it a hardware problem?

Any help is appreciate.

I think he is refurring to the orange side markers in your mirrors. If you open/close the car, they will blink.
Haven't had any problems here and i don't recall any VAG coding regarding the mirrors + open/close car. Could be, at least there are a few options regarding this (turn on beep sound etc).
Nothing you can do for the moment i guess, appart from checking if the system caused any fault codes.
Let the dealer figuer it out (since the car is still under warranty).

Sorry guys, i agree my english is not very good. That parts i cant explain very well. Lemme try again.

In the driver's door there are controls to open/close windows. Above there are like a little joystick that u turn left and right to adjust the side mirrors. Thats what im talking about, the lights for the mirror knob switch. (center, left mirror and right mirror)

Sometimes it is ok, red light is visible, sometimes it just disapear, but the led is there and u can barely see the lights. After turning ignition on and off, if I got lucky, the lighs are up again but after a short time, the light disapear.

Do I make me more clear?

this lights up with your head lights when on
adjust the brightness of your dash lights and it should help
if you have auto lights these lights will go on and off (on in the garage off after driving off)
