I need some expert advice...fix it or sell it?

I have a 2000 s4 automatic, 100,000 miles, 18" bbs wheels, apr ecu, apr turbo back, coilovers, and what I think are blown turbos. I have the money to fix it, and I love this car, but I am tired of spending money on it. I have two offers to buy the car from me for $3000. Should I put $3000 into fixing it and then sell it, and what would it go for? Or just sell it broken for $3000 and take the money I would spend on fixing it, $3000 ($6000 total) towards another car? I guess the real question is, if I drop another three grand in this car, could I get I back out if I sell it right away? Any help is greatly appreciated!

See how much they are going for in working condition.. then that is your answer, but it seems like you should be able to.
    Best regards,
    Sean.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone
bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

Fix it man its probably worth more to you now with no monthly payment like you would have with a new car.

Assuming your car is in decent shape, its worth more than $6k with brand new K04s, even if you don't do the fueling. Fix it and then decide later. However if you are tired of fixing it, maybe its time to sell, these cars always want some sort of attention.

at 100K how much other maintenance has been done? TB/WP package? and don't forget there will be plenty of other smaller $2,5,10,30,50 dollar items that will also want to be replaced since the engine is out.

Fix it, but why do you think the turbos are done? Make sure is the turbos first.

there's an S4 in the classifieds with a blown motor and tranny going for ~3x that amount (not wisely priced but still). fix it and see if you still want to sell.

edit: this is the car I was talking about: http://www.audizine.com/classifieds/...?product=43168
    My WTB List:
-Sport (all black) shift surround for 6MT
-Sport (all black) ash tray cover

If you don't fix it, you're throwing money away.

It is worth more than 3k with blown turbos. the mileage is pretty low, its not a big deal that its an auto. now if the trans was giving you issues id say sell it.
