Ok so I have now got my brilliant black 2000 S4 back from the shop today and took some quick pics with my Iphone.

Mods: GIAC chip, Piggies, ITG S-flow,and Bilstein Sport Shocks with H&R Sport Springs.

Next will I will install the rest of what I have already which includes: Podi boost gauge with center vent, ASP Tru-Dual exhaust with 89mm tips, and Gunmetal 18" VMR 710's.






First attempt at post pics hope it works.

Jesus, i thought my 5% with 35% on the windshield was dark. how dark is the tint on your windshield?

It was like that when I got it. I don't believe it is 5% but it is even so the windshield is the same as the windows. I am most likely going to change it to how yours is. You can put you face to my windshield and not see me. haha

I was waiting for the wipers to be brought up. I had not installed them yet when I took the pics. For some reason they were missing when I bought it wipers, brackets, and even the water pan (or whatever it's called).

I believe I am going to cut a front strip out of the existing tint and maybe tint the windshield 35% later. However I had to drive like 20mph on back roads because I couldn't see a thing,and I even tried Ace Ventura style. haha. So I have to do something about it today.

If you're talking bout the tray that relocates water, then you might want to inspect for water damage... probably nothing, but it's worth looking at. (sorry about the preposition.)

My dad is a used car salesman so he bought the car at an auction. It was a repo so who knows what that guy did with it. Everything has checked out thus far, however the clutch is a little ruff so I might be looking at an upgrade soon. other than that the car runs great and I am in love. haha

Now you need a RS4 grill and clear those corners and you are pretty much set as far as what you can do to the car on the outside.

My thoughts exactly. Plus I'm thinking about lightly tinting the side reflectors and the reverse light strip. Then a repaint / possibly body modifications in the spring and then to what really matters ... GO FAST PARTS! haha

Unless you mean widebody modification, don't. You've done a nice job so far, leave it be. The only other things I see worth doing is clear corners(or ecodes) and maybe an RS4 grille and sport mirrors, if that's your thing. Car looks good as is, eye up those go fast parts.

Wow, that looks beautifullll. Im deff diggin the rims. look really nice with the car. And yea, you should do the tinted reverse. I did mine on my silver S4, and love it. Although I did mine in 20% tint, and it might be a lil to dark. I'd go with 35% next time. Anyways, sweet ride

Thanks for all the input! I don't want to spend the time quoting everyone so I'll just answer some quick questions.

1. The car was a Repo and so I'm guessing the guy had some tips and took them off when he knew that it was going to be repossessed.

2. Body mods I am considering/will be doing: ecodes, rs4 grille, m3 lip spoiler, I'm debating taking off the bar thing that runs along the middle side of the car when I repaint. I seen a few people do it but still not sure and I am not into the fact that there would be bondo on my car. plus my front and rear bumpers are in rough same either a need to be replaced or fixed. most likely fix the rear but I am open to suggestions on the front. Also, preferable something not $$$ cause I am in college and as you know money is tight.

3. I'm not sure If I have seen the sport mirrors or may have but didn't realize it could you post a link or something?

4: someone mention doing the headlights to match the car. Thats sounds interesting, is it possible?

I would stick to the first 3 on your list and skip the body work if you can't afford to do it well. The other options are pretty affordable.

Sport mirrors are just the aluminum mirror cover portion of the sport package that also included aluminum trim and alcantara seat inserts. You can see the mirrors in my avatar.
