2011 Audi S6, known problems, quirks, tell me

hey guys,

I am going to be buying a 2011 S6 either in January or March, but first would like to know what I should expect. I know the S6 has been around for 4 years now, with minor updates, maybe some of you know what I should look for.

I am asking this mainly because, when I buy the car here in California, I plan to drive it here in the U.S. for a week or two and then put her on a boat to Switzerland where I will be living for the next year.

Congrats on your decision, The only issues I have encountered are as follows:

1) The car does burn oil...
2) If you have a heavy foot do not make this your daily driver
3) The car can go through brakes (closely associated to point 2 lol).
4) The dreaded FSI carbon build up (just get the cleaner and you should be fine).

However, the car is a quite amusing... I have had a lot of fun with my car. People can't seem to get their minds around the v10 badge. They look at the badge and ask "is that thing a V10" I just sort of nod and say yes...
