If you don't need both hands on the wheel, then you're NOT driving.

Nice. Obviously DTL took over from the start but towards the end of the flick his 6 CYL. AWD got the best of the situation.

sorry but that R does not look like it makes 350 hp. Not pulling near hard enough. It was a short run though I guess.

If he is supercharged, then the most he is making is probably 250awhp. I've had a few friends with S/C'd R's and only 1 of them made serious power, but that was because he was one of the few with the stage 4 VF kits. They advertise like 325 crank hp, and with a 25% drivetrain loss, it should be right around 250. Chipped 180s should be able to keep up like you did before the VR pulls away with top end power.

Well what I do know, is that a chipped 1.8t should keep up with a stock R for a while. The fact that you pulled on him at the start would make me think you're chipped. And just because someone says they have 350 doesn't make it so. People always seem to exaggerate a bit. I'm guessing he had a Stage 2 VF S/C kit, which makes the R a quick car, but by no means fast or powerful. If he's turboed, then he has severe problems, because a turbo R should be over 400whp and would blow a chipped 1.8t away even with a few car head start.

Again this is all based on my observation of the short run you guys had, so it's hard to know what exactly the cars are capable of.

No way in hell a stock tt would keep up with a 350hp r32. How do you know that r32 had 350hp?

LOL and he told you he has 350 from that? He MAYBE gained 30hp with those mods. The ECU is good for 10, as is the cam (maybe 20 if you want to be nice), and the intake and exhaust add barely anything.

    this.

Bolt on mods + a N/A car = very little gains...
