    Help me pair my remote!

So I've spent the last day searching endlessly through pages and pages of threads on how to program my remote both with and without VAG-com and nothing is working.

I have a B7 key that works fine to start the car but the remote functions (lock/unlock/trunk) don't. When I go into Cent. Conv. 46 and adaptation channel 21, I can enter in new values and recognize the new remote and when I hit save, the save box comes up normal but after pressing ok, the top status boxes read "ERROR" "Channel 21" "Not" "Available". I highly doubt that's normal.

If I go into measuring blocks, my 1 working remote will change the key number value when a button is pressed. When using the new b7 key a "remote control command" will be received, but the key number will not change. This means that my car is seeing the signal but it's not executing because the remote isnt matched.

I've tried doing the whole one key in the ignition one outside of the car unlock lock whatever and none of that works. I'm pretty convinced that this has something to do with VAG-com programming and I just cant seem to get it straight. Any suggestions? Anybody in the S. Surrey area or Vancouver area care to take a look?

    Thanks

There is a thread about this here on Audizine just look for it. B7/B6 key fob programming or something like that.
    Good luck.

What year is your car? If it's an 02 you are SOL as it's been mentioned it will not work unless you upgrade your CCM module.

    Mine's an 04

Ive tried the methods in both links with no luck. I'm pretty sure it has something to do w vag com but I'm not good enough with it to figure out how to make it work
