Anyone know a good reputable brake shop? I would like to get my rotors resurfaced and not have to pay an arm and a leg...

    Thanks

Selling Nogoro blue Alcantara door panels. Will fit b6/b7 a4/s4/rs4. In great condition, originally wanted $600 shipped but dropped price to $500 shipped. Check my classifieds for pictures. I want these gone, will include extra door clips if requested. PM me if you want pictures of them installed or anything else I want these gone so make me an offer and we'll talk.

I'm not sure how much they'll charge for resurfacing, but these are the only 2 places I trust with my car.

If you can pull them yourself... there are places that will machine them for you. I believe Napa will (call your local Napa and see)

What the hell is going on with this forum?

Where did all these morons come from?

Btw, good luck at getting your rotors resurfaced. Any brake shop that knows anything about Audi's is going to ask you to get new rotors.

From other vehicles... I usually do not machine rotors. When they warp, or are too thin, I just replace them. I usually just replace the discs every other pad change. I am not sure how it works with audi's as I am a new owner.

When doing the work yourself, the cost of new rotors usually is less then the cost of labor.

It's a 2 man shop. The owner/fabricator/head tech is top notch. He used to work for Turner Motorsport and KTR Motorsports. The second guy is equally accomplished but doesn't fabricate. They're not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I was just in there yesterday and there's a Carrera GT, Noble M12, and Ferrari F40 (complete engine rebuild) getting work done. An Enzo is scheduled in the following weeks too.

That does sound expensive but they like walking distance from me, which is a plus. I might just drive by and peek in.
