    rear camber adjustment question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I adjusted the rear camber tonight on the rear driver side to match the passenger(which is seized) but I'm having a bit of a problem. My coils have settled and the ground to fender height was 24" all around before I touched the camber. After making the adjustments to the rear driver side it now sits half an inch higher than all other wheels.

    Any idea why this happened?
I think my subframe may be a bit out of place after dropping it to install the coils, could that have anything to do with it?
The other thing is before I searched how to adjust rear camber it was set all the way negative on the rear driver side (the passenger side won't budge). Is it possible the negative camber made it sit lower and I just need to adjust my coils a little lower on the one side?

I ordered winters tires and will be waiting to put them on before getting a proper alignment, so for the meantime I need to make it drivable for a few hundred k. Any suggestions will help it's my first time working on suspension and I've searched a lot about these topics but couldn't find anything about my problem

Last thing .. I'm going to heat up the seized passenger side arm to try and break it loose, will I need to replace the arm or just the hardware once I get it apart.

i would recommend making sure your subframe is in stalled, then having a shop do camber and alignment. Even slight differences/ mal-adjustments in camber and alignment can fuck with the handling and cause tires to wear out really fast.
2002 B6 A4 1.8TQM Sport suspension swap, RS4 rear Swaybar, joey mod, plasti-dipped front grills, and rear trunk trim.

    Diode Mod!!
