Nah. Nothing has changed since anyone saw it last. Besides, I haven't washed it since Labor Day so its pretty filthy. Planning on washing it tonight though. Probably in the dark since I've been leaving work so late lately.



Steve is following in Vince's footsteps by going to a manual transmission. I was able to help him out with the necessary hardware. He's got a very competent audi/vw/porsche performance shop near him to do the installation in conjunction with his local dealer for the ECU coding. It should turn out very well.

It won't hold up past 20psi. I won't get into a debate why manual vs. automatic for obvious reasons.

No, the subframes are just in that pic, and is not needed for a transmission swap on the B6 as long as you are quattro to begin with.

i like everything except the southbend clutch. i will never advocate their product based on the fact that it fucked up my car, along with many many members cars on here. grinding gears, bad "brand new" throwout bearings, and whining gear noises are no fun.

Without any suitable upgrades, that is most likely true, depending on maintenance and driver style. However, the record here has plenty of evidence the MT often has reliability issues at high boost also.
