    Angry rai test pipe no cel?

    Anyone else purchase the rai testpipe with the long bung that is suppose to not give a cel? I bought one and I still get a cel. Codes say it secondary o2 sensor and intake temperature to hot. I am going to wrap the pipe to see if it will help. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Grrr... I don't have them :( I kinda know what your saying, cause as soon as I got chipped I got a code for o2 sensor but no cel. Maybe it is just the heat and after I wrap it the test pipe, it will be fixed. Was hoping someone would say adding a washer to the o2 sensor or a reflash. Ok this weekend I will wrap the pipe write down codes. Thanks for response walky talky.

    How about welding the tip of the OČ spacer?

    No air will get to the sensor. If it doesn't work, you can drill it to normal...

    Say what? Can you explain in mote depth the process and why it will work? As for drilling its got a long j shaped bung that makes the test pipe cel proof.

    I saw someone else post something about a reflash to fix the problem, but I wanted to get confirmation. Cool, I will call and setup an appointment with where I got my flash. I need to drive 80 miles one way and they say 25 bucks for computer time. lol. Thanks, once I get my new rims I'm have to showem all my upgrades.

    Ok was going to get stage 2 but cel went away. Must be u needed to let it break in. Thought u only had to do that with a full exhaust.

    ECU needs to re-adapt to the new values. What it used to see as "normal" was different then the new value it was seeing.

    That is what the tech told me when I first got chipped. I didn't realize or believe that electronics behaved in this manner so strongly. Now I believe.

    Same thing when you clear all the codes, you need to drive it for a while to be able to have them set again to pass a state inspection. At least now you know, I think the same thing may happen if you reset your ECU.

    Ok it's not perfect. Either go. It's because extra heat to intake cause no cat. Either have reset our drive it wil go on off worse in summer i wrap mine this year. Ok out lol
