And there was a LOT of prep work for these.... I just feel bad for anyone who tries this with spoked wheels. (I stripped like 8 layers of silver off before I hit the factory paint/clear - which took as long to remove as the first 8 did combined)

anyone else get the impression that the AMG monoblocks are making the rounds right now? maybe im just crazy. anyways, not a fan of the wheel, but i think this could be crazy enough it might work.

I actually don't have the bumper fenders roof spoiler or bronze rs4's anymore. Finished my fender pull and went flat black on the flares front and rear, flat black front bumper that my friend is airbrushing some grafitti on, flat blacking the rear after my friend at a body shop fills the cutout, and I sold the rs4's for some side cash. These are gonna have my spacers under them but will still be a little sunk in the rear (final pull added about an inch... It was a BIG pull) so I'm just gonna dump the shit out of the car and tuck front and rear.

Soooooo.... Yeah. Totally different looking now lol.

Oh and I've stripped and polished almost EVERYTHING under my hood that was either gold or purple. It's all black and polished now.

mercedes wheels always look good on an audi, it just that some people dont like to agree.

Interested to see final pics. In my opinion, the brightly colored wheels were big about 2 years ago, but now it seems a little played, although "played" isnt the correct word, but it's been a long day and i cant think straight to come up with a more appropriate word. As long as you like it though, that's all that matters!

Lindsay, I know what you mean. Watched it kinda come and go and come and go a couple times myself. I just think it's hard to do much else other than silver black and polished with these wheels - and body matching is A) too expensive and B) too boring for me. So I did the next best thing - neon colors lol. It was really more a process if elimination that brought me here but I think it'll play out nicely with all the freshly polished aluminum and flat black on the car.

Complete pics with engine bay update and new stance soon.

And Brandon - be my guest man, got a show on sunday so it should be done late Saturday night.
