    K03-73 worth it?

Is it worth fitting a K03-73 from a b6 as a small upgrade? I think they are about the same spec as a K04 but i could be wrong?

If what you're running now is a K03-005, then the -073 is a sizable bump in output. It can handle any K04 flash commonly out there and is good for 40bhp more than a -005. If you can get one cheaply do it!

Im on just the normal k03 on the AEB engine. Running a chip and about the 200bhp mark or should be anyway. I know its not going to make a big impact but if they are about on a par with a k04 i was thinking it might be worth a shot.

I don;t think they are on par with a K04. Probably closer to a K03s setup.

It is a k03's. I think the turbine is smaller than the k04 but the compressor side is the same or slightly larger.

sorry to bring up an old thread, but that is false. I ran a k03-073 that slappy had gotten on accident with a larger wastegate port and uprated actuator. I ran the PC-16 setup on the turbo without any issues but I also did bump up from a GIAC chipped k03-005 and it was a night and day difference. I have the dyno chart around here somewhere but i was just shy of 200awhp (around 193 I want to say) with that setup.

My car is chipped at the moment but no idea what chip it is. I was just thinking about one of these as a cheap upgrade. I know of one going cheap you see.
