    Bad O2 sensor. Which Side

Hi, I have a bad rear O2 sensor and am going to order it online. However I don't know which side and all the online parts places sell them labeled as left or right units. Here are the trouble codes:

    16440 - O2 Sensor B2 S2 P0056 - 004
    17548 - O2 Sensor B2 S2 P1140 - 004

    So B2 = Bank 2? S2 = Side 2?

Does anyone know if I am dealing with the left or the right?

    Much obliged.

If I recall correctly, bank 2 is the right side, and sensor 2 is post cat. I had my bank 1 side 1 go bad on my 3.0 and it was the driver side, precat.

IIRC it is the other way. Bank 1 is passenger, Bank 2 is driver's.

yes bank two is the driver side sensor two is the back sensor.

The reason bank two is the driver side is because of the fireing order.. Cylinder one is on the passenger side

I knew I should have looked for the paperwork that had it on them. First was one sensor and last week I found out it was the other (hence my confusion of which was which). Now it's my B1S1 that's gone bad, B2S2 was first.

    My bad!
