I know I could prob find this with the search but I have very limited time so I just hope that someone can help me out with this (Working 12 hours days right now). So I need to get my air bag light off. The car was wrecked when I bought it. I replaced the bag and computer (passenger)...however I need the light off for the inspection. I dont own a vag com. So I'm guessing my only option is to go to a dealer to get this done? There is no other way? I have a cheaper version of the vag com...one I bought at advanced...this will not work correct? I need this to be done at the dealer? Looks like I'm going to have to drive her out to the closest dealer which is 45 min away....I hope I dont pass any fuzz cause I have no stickers on the car for inspection or a plate lol.

But...I was told by a few ppl that the light should of went off once the air bag and computer were replaced? But mine didnt...so I wasn't sure if it def. needed cleared or if I did something wrong or what.Also...do you think the dealer would do this for free? Clear the code? Or should I bring a condom?
