Cant roll up passenger front window with driver side controls??

I have a 03 1.8t quattro. I can roll the passenger side window down but cant roll it back up with the driver side controls. Passenger side window controls work perfect and let me roll the window down and back up. what would be the problem??

the drivers switch always goes bad it seems. My rear window lock is stuck on so I have to roll the windows down for my passenger... so I just stopped giving people rides lol

new window switch assembly is like $70 bux on ecs tuning. im sure gvwaparts has it even cheaper.

Just look for a part out and pick up the switch you need. I picked up one of each from the last B6 part-out I found in the classifieds. I've had to swap 2 switches since then , so a good preemptive purchase i think...

Sorry to threadjack but I'm having a similar problem. Except my drivers side switch puts the passenger window up/down but the passenger side switch doesn't work. Also, the passenger side mirror won't adjust.

same here, but happens in the rear passenger.

push and hold the window lock down and then try and roll the rear windows down. if they go down by the each doors switch while your holding the window lock down on the drivers door then your drivers door witch is bad.
