Central locking mechanism

Does anyone know where the central locking module is I bought a b7 key fob set and need to splice some wires on it. or does anyone have a link to a write up about installing it on a b6

Sooo.....you want to use your B7 key fobs with your B6..? And to do this you think there are some wires you need to splice? So...you're looking for a write up about installing exactly what? One of us is confused- if yo bought the right remotes then you need to
1) Switch the key blades or have new ones cut to fit the B7 fob.
2) Swap the RFID chips from the B6 fob to the B7 fob *or* Have them programmed, most readily by the dealer.
3) Program the remotes with VCDS in the (46) convenience module.

I think its you its not an oem b7 fob its a kit from tmtuning.com the keys are transmitted to a box with a harness with wires that have to splice on the central locking mechanism or module im not sure what its called but the chip for the immob. is in the new key and the blades are being cut tomm. morning
