I have 3 from b5 1.8t trannies and then the one that is in my car and none had the 3rd hole, 2 are DWR(2000) and the other is DJJ (1997). One actually didn't even have the spot for it (DJJ), but the other 2 did and I just drilled it and tapped the hole on the one after I blew the center diff on my stock GBT (2003).
