New owner - 2005 1.8t

hey everyone,

just picked up my 2005 1.8t special edition fwd a few weeks ago. i wanted quattro, but for the price and km i couldnt say no. it had 44,000km on it. i have the dreaded PRNDS flashing every now and then - and thank goodness to extended warranty, for it goes into audi next week to get the transmission all taken car of.

so far i have debadged the back but left the rings, tinted it, and painted the stock rims black. trying to get my stereo (i have concert) situation figured out - think i want a nav deck, but dont know which one. also want to drop it, and get new rims come spring. also want to vinyl the roof black. and want to chip aswell. and the list goes on and on lol.

So I assume u got CVT tranny? Fail at 44000 km is crazy, what the hell was Audi thinking when they designed it?

ya the cvts suck. Your dash looks so out of place with a single din stereo in it... is there something under the hvac controls? all the ones I have seen have the hvac controls at the bottom and then the ashtray but yours seems to have something in between the two.

^ just a storage cubby. Only the CVT's got the single din stereo i believe.
