New S4 owner. Stoooooked! Finally took some shots.

I bought this car a few weeks ago, but I never got a chance to take some proper photos. Well finally, here they are. My new 2004 S4, dolphin gray, bone stock, 67k miles, and 2 years left on a Fidelity Platinum extended warranty.

Thanks guys. I basically spent a full day on the detailing. Washed, clay bar'd, polished a few spots, a coat of wax last night and another coat of wax this morning. Then a dignified and amply powered drive down Hwy 280, which is in the background of the first photo, to take these shots. By the way, if you haven't had the pleasure of driving CA Hwy 280, it's the closest thing we have to what I imagine a rural autobahn is like. Except with speed enforcement.

Carbon fiber trim is not on the agenda, I'm not into it, plus I think the CF look would be kind of ironic on a car this heavy. Next step is to do a serious treatment on the leather (did I mention I LOVE these seats?) and maybe a short shift kit. Next year I'd like to do some track days, and before that I'd like to do a Stasis center differential and maybe a rear LSD. Expensive items though.

-the cf trim is not to save weight. it is for astetics only. if anything it adds some weight

-www.detailersdomain.com Get the leather masters trio kit to treat the leather

-short shift kit-JHM is by far the best. nothing comes close

-JHM sells version of the 4:1 differential. its cheaper and it is the same exact thing

Lots of detailing. It's my daily driver but gets washed once a week.
