    Red "BRAKE" warning light?

I have seen the below chart, but the warning light I'm getting doesn't show up. It is just the word "BRAKE" in red letters, and when I was at the track the other day, it got set off twice. It would flash a couple times and cause a beep, then it would go away. It was typically when I got on the gas again after braking from ~115 to 55mph. Today getting on the highway in 3rd at WOT, it lit up again and beeped. Flashed ~6 times, then went away and did not come back the rest of the day.

Is this the 'brake pad low' indication? I did toast my pads real well at the track, and they sound like they're a little over worn now, but visually they appear to still have a bunch of "meat" left.

On a side note, will be posting some pics and videos from the track day in another thread - stay tunded if you're interested! ;)

    Thanks

The light shows the e-brake is engaged. Im not sure about the beeping and flashing.

The BRAKE light also shows when your brake fluid is below minimum. Sometimes when it is on the "edge" of minimum, massive g-forces to the car will cause the warning to sound repeatedly as the fluid sloshes fore and aft during hard braking/acclerating. So it will read as "low" during the acceleration, then it will be fine until you accelerate again, where it again trips the warning.

    Check your brake fluid level.

This same phenomenon happens with the washer fluid level, but it seems to do it upon braking.

e-brake was fully disengaged - brake fluid warning makes sense though as I did bleed the front brakes part way through the day and depleted the reserve a bit... I bet that's it - will check in the morning

ive had the same symptom after bleeding brakes and using up some fluid..

now i get three beeps upon start up and the blinking red BRAKE and ABS...
i pulled the abs fuse due to the ABS constantly buzzing at low speeds and suddenly grabbing after prolonged stops
im thinking wheel speed sensors but it never threw a code before removing the fuse
