I am currently not in the states and can't repair it by myself. I want to see how much it is to repair CV boot front driver's side(the boot that holds the grease).

If any of you out there paid someone to fix this, can you tell me how much you paid for it??

    Thank you so much~!

If the axle is off the car and you already have the parts expect to pay like 20 bucks. If the axle is on the car and you dont have the parts I think you would prolly expect to pay like 150. Just a wild guess tho.

I've replaced two of these on my 01 s4. A forum member did one of them for me. I just bought the entire axle (approx. $90) and paid the guy about $140. This was a good deal for me seeing how the dealer charges about $550 around here for the job. The only tough part about it is getting the upper control arm pinch bolt loose. I would suggest having one of these on hand just in case u have to drill it out.
