I understand its the Torque Converter seal and/or TC solenoid, as the light usually goes off in a few days. Will driving the car in Tiptronic Mode(clutchless manual) help any? I'm gonna do a full flush and fill first. Thoughts?

How many miles do you have? I got this code at 75k and a simple fluid change did not help, had to replace TC. Driving in Tip wouldn't have a effect.

You need a new TC, and you're looking at more than $500 in repairs.

Mine was $2300 but I had valve cover gaskets replaced as well. I also noticed the vehicle shifter much smoother and didn't slam into drive anymore.

Car has 159k but feels smooth and pulls very good still. As of today the light is off again. The intermittent nature of this problem leads me to think the issue is either electrical(Bosch) or the valve body is sticky.
