    Odometer (light) out!

Noticed that my odometer wasn't visible anymore. That little square is just black now.

Anyone know what I should be looking for? a bulb (how do I get bihind there?), a fuse or other things?

anoying because my fuel level gauge is non-working, so i rely on the trip meter to tell me when to fill up with gas. So I really need to fix it soon.

I believe there is a fuse for that. I just don't remember what number. Check the fuse box for one that says INST. or something like that

I don't think there is a backlight you can replace. I think you might have to replace the entire cluster. But I am not sure, as I have never had one burn out...

if its a pre face lift cluster there is replaceable bulbs in the back. If its a face lifted cluster, they are soldered in LED's

Wow, without an odometer nor fuel guage, driving must be stressful - Good luck getting it straightened out!

Not quite. The Odometer is it's own seperate little thing. THose little bulbs you speak of don't go there.

Well I found out that the dealer sells the bulbs for $5, so that's good, and I'll start by trying to change that.

I also found out that if you shine a flash light on it you can vaguelly make out the numbers reflecting, so the odometer still works, it's just the backlight that's out i assume.

The split wasnt in the pre and post facelift models. Very early models (maybe 97 and before or maybe 96 I dont remember) have bulbs, anything above had LEDs.

ohhh, I know my 96 had bulbs for sure. I changed them all from the 1.2W to the 2W bulbs.
