I have an automatic 97 1.8. My gear selector knob broke and to switch gears I have been pulling on a plastic piece that the button would normally pull. What is the best/easiest way to fix this. Will the consol have to come apart?. I do not have much patience when tinkering around with this car. Thanks for some answers.
