Best Air Filter for S5 V8

I have heard that our cars (S5 w/ 4.2 V8) need "dry" air filters. Before finding this out, I had purchased a K&N because they have always made good filters. So with this new info, does anyone have any suggestions? I have done some research and have found Apexi is supposed to have the best "dry" filter around when it comes to HP numbers. Thanks!

Especially on these cars. Audi has had issues with the air boxes deforming on the early S5s and causing weird engine air faults because of turbulence inside. If I were you I would leave this alone and use the stock filter.
