Bought the avant and the engine/tranny/practically everything worth having off of a stage 3 sedan. had them swapped into the avant. It was in the shop for almost a month. Well worth the wait though, just need fueling/tune now.

Funny, I was out on the town in the LES with a few friends last week and I spotted a laser red avant that was half widebody just like this one. It was parked just in front of the place we were going in to. It was strange because I guess I was the only one who noticed it, but still, just looked funny IMO. Never thought I'd run into a front only half widebody B5 S4.

To me, it doesn't make much sense to have the front end painted, only to then paint the rear later. I would just have everything painted at one time.

Looks like this is a common trend that is starting to form. Front end widebody only conversion.
