    Looking for STERN upper arms!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Just checking what the best/cheapest place to order Stern front upper control arms & that will ship to Canada.
The cheapest I can find them for is $599, anyone know anywhere that has them cheaper?

IMO $600 seems like a lot of money for these things, but they seem to be worth it & I don't want to kill my brand new tires now that i'm lowered.

Any help would be great, THX!

USP has them for $579. Dunno what shipping cost is though (or whether they'll ship to Canada). http://uspmotorsports.com/product_in...roducts_id=553

Side note, how low did you go? If you aren't crazy low, I wouldn't worry about getting adjustable control arms. With Eibach sport springs, my mech was able to get the front camber right on the edge of factory spec. Not perfect, but it's not going to destroy tires.

I have Tein 1.5" drop in front & my front camber is also at the minimum (-1.5) I know that's not that bad but I don't want to risk killing my new 19" tires & my new snow tires i'm about to put on in the next month or so.

I'd go for the cheaper 034motorsports arms but I don't like the fact you have to undo the M6 allen bolt & turn the head to adjust the camber.

Thanks for the USP link, i'll check them out for sure.

I think your Mechanic is blowing smoke Man...
There is no camber adjustment possible in the front and even if you lower 1/2 inch, you will kill your tires

Just called USP & they will ship to Canada & have the Stern arms in stock. Looks like I'm going with them for the arms.

Also found these on their site.

The guy I talked to at USP doesn't like them very much & says they are a pain to adjust, but he says they do work. I also spoke to him about adjusting the 034 arms & I was right he does say the are harder then the Stern arms to adjust but still a great product.

Thanks for all the help guys, this site rocks!!

I ordered my stern ACAs from USP aswell.. If I knew that the 034s came apart by the Allen bolt instead of pulling out the pinch bolt each time would have bought the 034s. Of course I found that out 10 minutes after I ordered the sterns. The stern control arms are pricey and there's more parts to fail on them. Also after time the sterns turnbuckle can corrode around the threads on both ends opposed to just the one. I think the stern arms are still a great product and they look sexy but I like the simpilicty and price of the 034 control arms.

I know it's not adjustable, but it was 1 degree off. I specifically asked to see the printout because I didn't believe him either. Is 1 degree really going to kill my tires??
