For reference I have a B7 Imola S4 with:
-Gunmetal Forgestar F14 Wheels
-Black RS4 grill with black trim
-Blacked out window chrome (Vinyled 2 years ago, redoing with plastidip soon)
-Tinted windows (30% I think) all around except windshield.
I will plastidip the silver trim under the trunk when I redo the window chrome.
The silver mirror's have been driving me nuts, so I picked up two new A4 mirror caps from the dealer. The plan was just to do them in a plain normal black. Not matte, not super gloss, just like normal black mirrors on a black A4 would be. But now I'm thinking I want to paint the rear valance as well... I think black on it might be a little too much, it would look better in a gunmetal/titanium/dark grey/carbon black kind of color I think. But I don't like having too many different colors on the go on the exterior so part of me would like to paint them both the same (plus my body guy will charge way less that way). So would the mirrors look silly beside the window trim being a color other than black? Would the valance look silly in black? What do you guys thing? Do them all in black? Do them all in some kind of dark grey/black with less gloss than a normal black? Or do the mirror black and the valance gunmetal and not worry about it?
Any and all feedback is appreciated, sorry for the long blah blah blah and the boring thread.
