About to get off of extended warranty ... what should I have 'done'?

I recently had the High Pressure Fuel Pump replaced under warranty, which they thought would fix my surge issue, but it still surges a little bit at idle/start up. My question is, do you think it warrants them to replace my cam follower? I have never had the CAM follower replaced, and other threads are scaring me, haha.

I was hoping to have the dealership replace it, so if they find any other issues, they can do it under warranty? Or will they ONLY replace things if it's throwing a code?

I was thinking of eventually replacing the crankcase breather diaphragm, valve cover/bolt seals? Or should I just wait until I see issues? Warranty is up in march of 2011.

I am also slightly worried about carbon buildup? LOL...just want to get the most out of my extended warranty while I can.

Where is your shop at? What does your end of warranty inspection include?

we are in lexington,ma. we give it a full safety check, look for anything that should be swapped while in warranty.
