infinity kappa speakers with bose setup? aftermarket amp or stock one??

i have a 2000 audi s4 with stock bose symphony sound system. my bottom driver in my passenger door finally blew so i will be replacing the speakers. i was told the easiest replacement while keeping stock bose head unit and amp are to replace the bottom drivers with 2 way speakers (must be 2 ohm as the amp powers it this way). the only 2 way speakers i could find are the infinity kappas (the infinity reference are now only 4 ohms). i was told these will pop right in and are better than the stock bose and even better the infinity reference. my real question comes into play is that the stock bose amp might not be able to power these speakers enough to really hear the quality instead it might sound worse if there isnt enough watts going to them. will this stock amp be suffice or do i need a bigger speaker amp? if so is there anything that will directly bolt in? i am not looking to change the head unit as i already put the ipod adapter in and i am not looking to rewire the whole car. all info appreciated. also i was told from crutchfield that the front doors are 4" and the rear doors are 3.5". is this true? other ppl say that its 4" and 5.25". i need the DOOR SIZES NOT THE SUBS IN THE REAR DECK. i already ordered the 3.5 and 4 i really hope these are correct.

I have the kappas with the stock head unit in the rear deck. They sound great so im sure that those should work just fine. GL

I thought the rear doors were 5.25s but then again we may have made adaptors when I use to install car audio for a living.
Also, what IPod adaptor did you go with?

Go to crutchfield.com, they tell you all the specs of the stock system you'd like to know...

Infinity calls them "true 4ohm", which actually means 2ohm at the coils. They will work.
Unsure why they started this, its confusing to everyone but the idiots who were previously confused about what a 2ohm driver was.

Front doors are components with a 1" tweeter & 4" midbass.
Very few companies offer a 4" comp set, and even less at 2ohm(if any). A 5.25" set will fit with very little extra effort.
The rear doors are 6.5" midbass (no tweeter), same size as the rear decklid subs, but different speakers altogether.

about to pull the trigger on the 6.5" infinity kappa 2 way rear deck speakers... the "true 4 ohm" stuff is retarded, just to clarify these are 2 ohm speakers and are plug and play correct?

Yes, however the rear deck speakers are subs, so keep that in mind when replacing with a coax.
