my stupid cluster keeps saying that my coolant is low and beeps three times. than it shuts off. than it does it again. and again. and again. and, well you get it. IM LOSING MY MIND!!! i cant drive anywhere anymore. There is plenty of coolant in the car so i dont understand what the problem is.

Does anyone know how to disconnect the cluster? Or sensor? Or both? anything to make it stop!

Pleaaase get back to me people.

Did you check the connector on the bottom of the coolant bottle? Maybe it is just loose. I'd unplug, clean the contacts and plug it back in. Make sure it clicks.

Basically, the cluster beeps when it sees that circuit go open. Open = no continuity = no coolant = beeping. It sounds like yours is an "intermittent open" as you get the warning off and on, otherwise it would just beep once then the graphic would stay on constantly.

Other than a loose connector, the possibilities are:
    - Faulty sensor in the bottle
    - Faulty wiring
    - dirty connector (corrosion)
    - faulty cluster

I believe you can eliminate the bottle as a possibility by just jumping the connector with a paper clip or piece of wire. That should close the circuit permanently. If it still goes open at that point, you have a wiring or cluster issue.

Most likely is just a loose or dirty connector at the bottle. Definitely check that first.

I would also jump the wires on the sensor, if cleaning the contacts doesnt work. Just have to keep an eye on your coolant, in case it really does go low one day.

you need a new coolant reservoir, something is wrong with the float sensor in the reservoir, there is two wires on the connector...jump is by connecting a wire to both of them and you will be done

How do you jump the relay? i need to do that to my Washer fluid one.. one of the rubber gaskets on the seal are shot so its always slowly leaking out lower then the sensor and then stays lit on the dash. I guess i should really be fixing the leak before the bad weather comes this year because they load our roads with sand n salt, and they keep saying its going to be the worst one in 40 years..
