    "Standard" S4 B8 suspension code 1BA or 1BD/1BE?

    I have been wondering about this for some time now. Are S4 B8 guys in the USA running 1BA standard running gear code on your car sticker or a 1BD or 1BE?

    I ask this because I was under the impression that the A4's run 1BA and the S4's are already lowered and running 1BD or 1BE. Or, is there no 1BD/1BE for S4 because 1BA (stock) is lowered and that's what appears on the sticker?

    I can check my sticker and see if you, in the US the S4 is supposed to be lower than stock A4 by 20mm or something I think.

    Yes, that would be great. Just want to get a better understanding of the B8's. Thanks!

    My S4 has 1BD on the sticker

    Using the online options code decoder

    1BA = Standard suspension/shock absorption
    1BD = Suspension/shock absorption for special sports design
    1BE = Sports suspension/shock absorption

    So am I right to assume that 1BD is standard for S4 B8? And there is probably no 1BA base option?

    I believe so, I forgot to dig my sticker out last night to verify, but I think 1BA is stock A4, 1BD is S4, and 1BE is A4 S-line.
